Brookhaven, which developed as Atlanta's first country club neighborhood, is located on the northern edge of Buckhead. It begins just north of the intersection of Peachtree Road and Peachtree-Dunwoody Road.
Now sometimes referred to as West Brookhaven, it is an enclave of large, elegant Tudor, Colonial, Georgian and English cottage homes in a lush landscape of broad, winding streets, densely wooded hollows and gently rolling hills with the Capital City Country Club as its heart.
Historic Brookhaven is the residential neighborhood located at the area's core, and is sometimes simply referred to as Brookhaven. It has homes surrounding the Capital City Club ranging from $800,000 to $4,000,000. Other residential neighborhoods in the area include Ashford Park, Sexton Woods, Cambridge, Hampton Hall, Keswick, Brittany, Lynwood, and Silver Lake Estates.
